This is good news.
God created us in His image to reflect His nature and live with Him in perfect unity.
We rebelled against Him, creating a divide that was impossible to cross by ourselves. Our sin deserved death and we could no longer live with our Creator God.
Jesus was put to death on a cross in our place, paying the penalty for our sin that we deserved.
Jesus was raised to life again and invites us to believe in and follow Him. If we believe, God forgives us of our sin and gives us the promise of everlasting life with Him.

Thank you that He rose again, allowing me to have forgiveness for my sin and everlasting life with You. Please help me to turn from my old way of life and follow after You according to Your Word.
